G.A.R. Officers
At the regular meeting of J.B. Steadman Post No. 172, G.A.R. held November 22, the following officers were elected for 1918:

Post Commander – W.F. McColley.
Senior Vice – James M. Mock.
Junior Vice – John McEwan.
Q.M. – W.H. Klinker.
Surgeon – T.D. Thayer.
Chaplain – E.S. Chapin.
Officer of the Day – E.B. Smith.
Officer of the Guard – Noah Cruse.

The following officers were appointed:

Adjutant – W.W. Chapel.
Patriotic Instructor – Bird Estes.
Sergeant Major – T.D. Day.
Q.M. Sergeant – W.G. Brown.
Delegate to State Encampment – W.H. Klinker.
Alternate – W.G. Brown.

Joint installation of G.A.R. and W.R.C. will be held Saturday, January 5, 1918, at the Grand Army hall in Appleton City. A noon day luncheon will be served to which all members of both orders, together with their better halves, and all old soldiers, are invited.
