John T. Appler, Hannibal, Marion Co., Mo. Letter commanding Sergeant Fleming to take charge and deliver him safely to the Office of the Provost Marshal General in St. Louis. Told he will be responsible if Appler escapes. 16 February 1864.

John T. Appler, St. Louis, St. Louis Co., Mo. Notice that Appler was sent from Hannibal and would be received as a prisoner at Gratiot Street Prison. Document notes he was admitted to hospital. 19 February 1864.
