The closing events of the year come thick and fast for the senior class.
Last night the Junior – Senior banquet was held at Odd Fellows hall. As this annual event was held after the Independent was printed, no report can be given this week.
On Sunday night, May 12, Rev. S.G. McCluney, pastor of the Presbyterian Church will preach the baccalaureate sermon at the M.E. Church.
Monday night will be class night, this affair to be held at the school building.
Commencement exercises will be given at the Electric Theatre, Wednesday night, May 15. The program of these exercises is printed elsewhere.
