Cortez Tincher, b. @ 1834; d. @ 1863 from snake bite. Doctor, soldier during Civil War. In his capacity as a doctor, he maintained a home in Paris, Texas and died during the war from snake bite, not from service wounds. Son of James & Sarah Elizabeth (Hand) Tincher.
