Harlan Junction
Harlan Junction was just north of Vista, in Doyal Township. The Kansas City,
Clinton & Springfield Railroad crossed the tracks of the Frisco Bolivar Branch
at this location. It is prohibited by law for one railroad to cross the tracks
of another without first coming to a complete stop, and for this reason
Junctions were generally erected at railroad stopping points.
