
Here's some kids holding a sign proclaiming the celebration of
Dodd Day.
These look like the kids who were with Alfred C. Davidson II in the photo when
he was looking like a scout leader. Maybe these were his students at Taverville
School when he was a schoolteacher.
A poem similar to what appears to be written on the
sign is:
Hearts, like doors, will ope' with ease
To very, very little keys;
And don't forget that two of these
Are "Thank you, sir," and "If you please."
