Doris Marietta Wears was born 11 January 1917, Leo Glenn Wears is Doris's
younger brother, born in 1918.
Not credited as appearing in this photograph is Luster Earl Colley, born 7
October 1917. Earl and Doris were lifelong classmates at Lowry City School and
Lowry City High School. If this were a school photo, Earl must have been gone
from school that day.
I submit this photograph in the hopes that others will recognize family and
friends in it. I wonder if anyone can more exactly identify the people in the
picture, and perhaps the circumstance it was taken under.
