John David Gilbert was the son of son of John W. & Temperance (Higgins) Gilbert.
Nancy Jane Hughes was the daughter of William W. & Rufina Adeline (Rose) Hughes.
John David and Nancy Jane were both born in Collins, St. Clair Co., Mo.
