JUDGE WILLIAM A. MITCHELL (1823 – 1872)

Osceola Herald, 23 May 1872:

Mitchell, Judge William A., aged 49 years, 4 months, 15 days, died suddenly May 10th. He was born in Bourbon County, Kentucky, January 4, 1823. At age six he emigrated to Indiana and in 1857 he came to Missouri. In 1851 he married Miss Colegate T.D. Steel, who with three sons are left to mourn.
