Be it remembered that on this 27th day of August AD 1851 I Waldo P. Johnson Judge of the St. Clair circuit court having been counsel for Samuel W. Harris and Hugh Barnett in a case called a civil action now pending in the St. Clair circuit court wherein the said Samuel W. Harris and Hugh Barnett are Plaintiffs and Joseph Montgomery is defendant Do for the reason that I have been counsel in said cause as aforesaid and by virtue of authority in me vested by the Laws of Missouri award a change of venue in said cause of the Sixth Judicial circuit and to the circuit court of the county of Bates in said Sixth Judicial circuit.
