N.W. Todd Adm of the Estate of Daniel Todd Dec’d – Plaintiff

William W. Yoss & Joseph R. Young – Defendants
Judgment Received April Term 1865.
Now at this day comes the Plaintiff by his attorney and it being proved to the satisfaction of the Court that the said defendants William W. Yoss & Joseph R. Young have been duly notified pursuant to law by publication in the Missouri State Times a Newspaper published in the City of Jefferson County of Cole and State of Missouri for four weeks successively the last insertion thereof being at least for four weeks before the first day of this term of this court and the said defendants being three times solemnly called comes not but makes default nor have they filed any answer herein whereby plaintiffs petition remains undefended wherefore plaintiff ought to recover and the said action being founded on a promissory note for the direct payment of money executed by said defendant on 6 day April AD 1861 therefore the Court doth find and ascertain that there is due and owed on said notes the sum of Five Hundred & Eighty Four Dollars and Seventy Nine cents his debt and Five Hundred & thirty Seven Dollars & Eighty cents his damages, and it appearing from the return of the Sheriff of St. Clair County Mo that he did on the 11th day of June 1864 attach the following described lands Situate in St. Clair County Missouri as the property of the said William M. Yoss defendant to wit

W 1/1 SE ¼ E ½ N ½, Sec 22 Town 27 Range 27
NW ¼, Sec 24 Town 27 Range 17
N ½ N ¼ Sec 27 Town 27 Range 17
E ½ N ½ Town 27 Range 17
NW ¼ NE ¼ Sec 25 Town 27 Range 17
NE ¼ SE ¼ & NE ¼ Sec 17 Town 27 Range 27
SE SW & W ½ SE Sec 12 Town 7 Range 27
And the following described lands Situate in the County & State aforesaid as the property of the Said Joseph R. Young

N ½ NW ¼ Sec 16 Town 27 Range 27
NE ¼ NE ¼ Sec 26 Town 38 Range 26
Now it is Considered by the court that the said Plaintiff

Have and recover of the said defendants the said sum of Four Hundred & Eighty Seven & 75/100 Dollars his debt & Five Hundred & Thirty Seven & 64/100 Dollars her damages So found due as aforesaid together with her costs and Charges in this behalf laid out and expended and that Special Execution issue therefor to be levied on the lands so attached and the same to be sold to Satisfy Said Judgment damages & costs.
