At a Circuit Court Commenced and held at the dwelling house of William Gash Esq’r in the County of St. Clair on Tuesday the 3fd day of August 1841.

Order that Court Adjourn untill Tomorrow morning 9 of the Clock.

Court Met pursuant to Adjournment

Petition to foreclose
Now at this day Comes the parties by their Solicitors And the Complainant by his Solicitor files herein his petition and the said defendant by his attorney’s Action aforesaid Saith that he cannot deny the action aforesaid of the said Complainant nor but that he owed unto the said Complainant the sum of money aforesaid in said petition mentioned nor but that the payment of the sum is Secured to be made in manner and form as the Said Complainant above against him hath complained Therefore it is Considered by the Court here that the said Complainant recover of the said defendant the sum of Two hundred and fifty three dollars the sum Confessed as aforesaid for his debt and damages together with his Costs and Charges by him in this behalf laid out and Expended and that he have thereof his writ of Execution and it is ordered and decreed by the Court here that the same be levied of the North east quarter of the south east quarter of section No. 20 in Township No. 37 of range No. 25 the mortgaged property in said petition mentioned and it is further ordered that if the said mortgaged property be not sufficient to satisfy Said debt damages and Costs then the residue to be levied of Other goods, Chattels, lands and tenements of the said Defendant.

Ordered that Court adjourn untill Court in Cause to Meet again at the Town of Osceola in St. Clair County.
