And on his motion leave is by the undersigned clerk of the St. Clair Circuit Court granted to Said Plaintiff to withdraw the two notes filed in this cause and upon which said Suit and attachment was founded.

affidavit that the Said defendant is a Non resident of the State of Missouri. It is therefore ordered by the undersigned Clerk in vacation that said defendant be notified of the Commencement of this Suit by publication in the Osceola Independent according to law to wit
To Adison H. Bailey. You are hereby notified that Nancy J. Bailey has filed in the office of the clerk of the circuit court of Missouri per petition the object and general nature of wich is to Obtain a divorce from the bonds of matrimony by her contracted with you upon the ground of wilful desertion And that unless you be and appear before the Judge of said court to be begun and held at the Court house in the Town of Osceola on the first Monday in September next and answer or demur to said petition in or before the fourth day of Said term the said will taken as confessed.
