In The Circuit Court of St. Clair County Missouri March Term 1868.

Now at this day comes the Plaintiff in the above entitled cause
before the Clerk of the St. Clair Circuit Court in vacation and
files his petition and affidavit Stating among other Things That the
above named defendants, is not a resident of the State of Missouri.
It is therefore ordered by the Clerk at said Vacation that
publication be made, notifying said Defendant John W. Johnson that
an action has been commenced against them by petition and attachment
in the Circuit Court of St. Clair County in the State of Missouri,
the object and General nature of which is to obtain Judgement
against said Defendant for $74.00 being money paid by the said
Plaintiff as security for the said Defendant on a school Bond
executed to Benton County Missouri , which bond was executed on the
7th day of February 1860. And issued by said plaintiff as security
on the 1st day of January 1863, issued that his property has been
Attached, and that unless he be and appear at the next Term of this
Court, to be held at the Court House in Osceola in the County and
State aforesaid the Sixth Monday after the second Monday in February
AD 1868, and on or before the third day thereof of the Term or as
long continued, and if not then before the end of the term. And
plead answer or demur to plaintiff petition, the same will be taken
as c9onfessed and judgement rendered accordingly And his property
sold to satisfy said the Damage and costs of suit.
It is further ordered that a copy hereof be published in the
“Osceola Herald” a newspaper published in the Town of Osceola County
of St. Clair and State of Missouri for four weeks successively with
the insertion thereof to be at least four weeks before the
Commencement of the next Term of this Court.

Louisa Melvina Bridges

Thomas Bridges
Petition for Divorce.
Now at this day comes the said Plaintiff in the above entitled cause
before the undersigned Clerk of the St. Clair Circuit Court in the
State of Missouri, and files her petition and affidavit stating
among other things that the said Defendant is a non-resident of the
State of Missouri, so that the ordinary process of Law cannot be
served upon him. It is therefore ordered by the Clerk aforesaid, in
vacation the publication be made notifying said Defendant, Thomas
Bridges, that an action has been commenced against him in the
Circuit Court of Saint Clair, in then State of Missouri, the object
and general nature whereof is to obtain a Divorce from the Bonds of
Matrimony heretofore entered into by and between the said Defendant
Thomas Bridges and Louisa Melvina Bridges, at the County of St.
Clair, and State of Missouri on the 10th day of January 1862, and
for such other and further order in the premises as may be proper.
And that unless he be and appear at the next Regular Term of the
Court to be began and holden at the Court house in the Town of
Osceola St. Clair County and State aforesaid and on or before the
third day thereof if the Term shall so long continue and if not then
before the end of the Term and plead answer or demur to Plaintiffs
petition the same will be taken as confessed and Judgement rendered
against him, in accordance with the prayer of Plaintiff. It is
further ordered by the Clerk aforesaid in vacation that a copy
hereof be published in the “Osceola Herald” a newspaper printed and
published in the County of St. Clair in the State of Missouri, for
four weeks successfully, the last insertion thereof being at least
four weeks next before the first day of the next term of this Court.
In Circuit Court, March Term 1868. In vacation Nov. 5, 1867

Civil Action by Attachment on Note.
Now at this day comes the said Plaintiff in the above entitled cause
before the Clerk of the Saint Clair Circuit Court, in the State of
Missouri, in vacation and files his petition and affidavit stating
among other things that the above named Defendant Richard Weist is a
non-resident of the State of Missouri, so that the ordinary process
of Law cannot be served upon him. It is therefore ordered by the
Clerk aforesaid, in vacation that publication be made notifying the
said Defendant Richard West, that an action has been commenced
against him by petition and Attachment in the Circuit Court of Saint
Clair County in the State of Missouri the object and general nature
whereof is to obtain Judgement on a promissory note

executed by said Defendant Richard West and Delivered to Plaintiff
bearing Date Osceola, March 8, 1866 for the sum of $15.00 due Twelve
months after date with interest at the rate of ten per cent per
Annum from date until paid for value received. And that his property
has been Attached and that unless he be and appear at the next term
of this Court to be began and holden at the Court House in Osceola
Mo on the sixth Monday after the second Monday in February next
1868, and on or before the third day thereof if the term shall so
long continue (if not then before the end of the said Term) and
plead answer or demur to plaintiffs petition the same will be taken
as Confessed and his property so attached, sold to satisfy said
Debt, damages and Cost of suit.
It is further ordered by the Clerk aforesaid that a Copy hereof be
published for four weeks successively in the “Osceola Herald” a
newspaper printed and published in the County and State aforesaid
the last insertion thereof being at least four weeks next before the
first day of the next term of the Court.

Now at this day comes the Plaintiffs in the above entitled cause
before the undersigned Clerk in vacation and files their petition
and affidavit Stating among other things that the above named
Defendant Henry Drais is a non-resident of the State of Missouri. It
is therefore ordered by the Clerk aforesaid in vacation as aforesaid
that Publication be made notifying said Defendant Henry Drais that
an action has been commenced against him by petition and attachment
affidavit in the Circuit Court of St. Clair County in the State of
Missouri Subject and general nature of said petition & action being
the enforcement of a vendors lien, and for the purpose to obtain
Judgement against him on his note to the said plaintiff dated Jan
2nd 1866 for Seven Hundred Dollars due and before the 1st day of
January AD 1867 Given for the purpose money of the NW of Section 22
and the East ½ of the NW ½ of Sec 36 of Township 39 Range 34 in said
St. Clair County And the Decree of said Court proclaiming and
extinguishing her (can’t read) equitable estate in Said lands and
(can’t read) lands or so much Thereof as may be necessary to satisfy
said Judgement And it (can’t read) said Defendant be and appear at
the next Term of said Court to be begun and holden at the Court
House in Osceola in the County and State aforesaid on the sixth
Monday after the second Monday in February AD 1868 and on or before
the sixth day thereof if the Term shall so long (can’t read) and if
not then before the end of the Term and plead answer or demur to
Plaintiffs petition the same will be taken as confessed. It is
further ordered that a copy hereof be published in the “Osceola
Herald” a newspaper published in the Town of Osceola, County of St.
Clair, State of Missouri for four weeks successively the last
insertion thereof to be at least four weeks before the Commencement
of the next term of this Court.

Now at this day comes the Plaintiff in the above entitled cause
before the undersigned clerk of the Circuit Court of St. Clair
County in vacation and files his petition and affidavit ensuring
among other things that the above named defendant Daniel Nottage is
a non resident of the State of Missouri. It is therefore ordered by
the Clerk aforesaid in vacation aforesaid that publication be made
notifying said Defendant David Nottage that an action has been
commenced against him by petition and affidavit in the Circuit Court
of St. Clair County in the State of Missouri founded on a note
mortgage by him executed to one Geo. S. Fey on the 20th day of
January AD 1859 said note being founded on (can’t read) due on
(can’t read) the 25th day of Dec 1857 (can’t read) from due payable
to said Geo. S. Truncard and (can’t read) being executed on certain
lands in said St. Clair County (can’t read) the payments of said
note (can’t read) said note and mortgage being assigned to said
Plaintiff the object and general nature of which Petition and action
being above payment on said note to foreclose his Rights equity of
(can’t read) in said lands and (can’t read) Thereof as may be
necessary to pay of the payments and that unless he said Defendant
be and appear at the next term of said Court to be holden at the
Court House in Osceola (can’t read) the same will be taken as
confessed and judgement rendered in accordance with the (can’t read)

action be made notifying the said Defendant Jeremiah Looney that an
action has been commenced against him by Petition and attachment in
the Circuit Court of St. Clair County Missouri, founded on a
promissory note dated October 9th 1858, whereby the said Defendants
from and for Administrator of [can’t read] value received to pay
M.T. Looney, the sum of One hundred & fifty Dollars & Sixty five
cents, with ten per cent interest per annum as due till said and
afterwards towit on the 14th day of Nov 1859 the sum of $1.00 was
paid on said note. And that his property has been attached and that
unless he be and appear at the next term of this Court to be began
and holden at the Court House in the Town of Osceola St. Clair

further prosecute this action against the said Defendant but
voluntarily dismisses the same. It is therefore ordered by the Clerk
aforesaid that the said suit be dismissed at the Cost of the said
Plaintiff and that they be allowed to withdraw the note sued on by
