October Term 1865

Monday morning nine oclock October the 16th day AD 1865.
Now at this day being the day on which the Circuit Court of St. Clair County Mo. Should become in accordance with its last order of adjournment, come Broadus G. Roberts Sheriff of the Said County of St. Clair and brings before the Clerk of the Said Circuit Court, at the Court house in the Town of Osceola in Said County the following named persons whom he had summoned in accordance to a Venire Facias issued, on the Third day of September AD 1865, by the Clerk of the Said Court, to appear on this day before the said Court to serve as jurors for said St. Clair County to wit:
Hezekiah Thompson, John Witt, O.B. Copeland, Thomas J. Ferrior, Mark Allison, Samuel A. Monroe, John Walker, John Cochran, James Kenedy, Wm. Lewellen, Elisha Bridges, W.V. Bridges, James Cauthon, G.E. Marlow, Isaac Rodgers, John H. Thomas, G.A. Champion, Jacob McNutt, King C. Allen, John Camel, A.J. Pugh, A.M. Cole, Alexander Walker, Mathew Salsburry, James M. Preston, Jacob Swank, Daniel Shippey, Wm. Godwin, A. Ayers, Henry Denny, John Upton, Wm. Collins, Thomas A. Penly and William George all of whom were at the Court house aforesaid, ready to serve as jurors as aforesaid, for three days in succession.
On the evening of the 18th day of October AD 1865, Broadus G. Roberts Sheriff as aforesaid discharged the above named persons from further attendance as the Judge of the Said Circuit Court failed to arrive at Osceola in said County on the 16th, 17th and 18th day of October 1865.
