James Ethridge
Know all men by these presents. That Synthia Ethridge of the County of St. Clair in the State of Missouri have this day for and in consideration of the sum of Three Hundred 00/100 Dollars to the said Synthia Ethridge in hand paid by James Ethridge of the County of St. Clair in the State of Missouri Granted Bargained and sold and by these presents do Grant bargain and sell unto the said James Ethridge the following described tracts or parcels of land situate in the County of St. Clair in the State of Missouri: that is to say: The North East quarter of the South East quarter of Section (15) fifteen Also the South West quarter of the South West of section (8) Eight. Also the North half of the North West quarter of the North West quarter of section (17) Seventeen all in Township (37) Thirty Seven of Range (28) twenty eight To Have and To Hold the premises hereby conveyed with all the Rights privileges and Appurtenances thereto belonging or in anywise Appertaining unto the said James Ethridge his heirs and Assigns forever I the said Synthia Ethridge hereby Covenanting to and with the said James Ethridge his heirs and assigns for himself his heirs executors and Administrators to Warrant and Defend the title to the premises hereby conveyed Against the Claim of every person whatsoever.
In Witness whereof I have hereto subscribed my name and Affixed my seal this 3rd day of October 1871.

Be it Remembered that on this 3rd day of October A.D. 1871 before the undersigned a Notary Public within and for the County of St. Clair aforesaid personally came Synthia Ethridge who is personally Known to me to be the same person whose name is subscribed to the foregoing instrument of writing as a party thereto and acknowledged the same to be her act and deed for the purposes therein mentioned. And the said Synthia Ethridge further declared to be single and unmarried.
