Sir in answer to yours of Mar 21. I will say that that I do not now whether my father or Grandfather
ever was enrolled or not. my Father came from Va to Saline Co. Mo. and in 1835 I think it was
he and his father Settled in Henry Co. Mo. and in 1839 he my Father Settled in St. Clair Co. Mo.
and lived there till 1863. I can well remember
